With a turnover of nearly €4.2 billion, Intersnack is a market leader in the snack industry, and we are committed to embedding sustainability into everything we do. As part of upcoming legal and regulatory requirements, our Procurement Finance Team is now looking for a Procurement Environmental Reporting Specialist to join our team. Could this be you? Read on to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Your BIG challenge as a Procurement Environmental Reporting Specialist
In this newly created role, you will play a key part in integrating Procurement Carbon Emissions and Emission Reduction reporting into our broader procurement spend and savings reports. With new ESG reporting regulations on the horizon, we, as the Procurement Finance Team, are looking for someone who can handle the increasing need for detailed environmental reporting and help us track our emission reduction. You will assist in building our sustainability reporting from scratch and ensure that we meet all legal requirements while closely collaborating with the sustainability team and Category Managers. You’ll be the expert that helps bridge the gap between sustainability data and procurement processes, bringing together environmental insights with financial data to drive impactful change.
Your responsibilities as our Procurement Environmental Reporting Specialist:
- Integrate carbon emissions and emission reduction reporting into the existing Procurement Spend & Savings reports.
- Feed into SBTi (Science Based Targets Initiative) reporting and ensure compliance with upcoming regulatory requirements.
- Build up sustainability reporting from scratch and incorporate it into financial reports with support from the sustainability team.
- Collect, analyze, and report on environmental data, working closely with category managers and stakeholders within the Intersnack Group.
- Ensure that all sustainability-related reports meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with different procurement teams across Intersnack Group’s MU’s (Management Units).
- Assist with documentation of methodologies for internal processes.
- Maintain and update data using ERP systems and support teams in extracting necessary data.
- Travel up to 10%, mainly within Europe.
Job requirements
At Intersnack, we lead with an entrepreneurial mindset. Here’s what we expect from you:
- University degree in Sustainability, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Living within a commutable distance from Zevenaar (near Arnhem).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in collecting and reporting environmental data or similar fields.

- Strong communication and networking skills; you can engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of ERP systems and experience working with data extraction tools.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently in a new role, building up processes and reporting systems from scratch.

- Flexibility to travel up to 10% and to work at least twice a week in our Zevenaar office.
