Turn data into impact as Supply Chain Controller in an international environment where finance, operations and procurement come together.
Job description
We are missing a special ingredient. Could it be you?
Step into a role where you drive performance in one of the most complex and large-scale global supply chains. In this multicultural environment, you act as a true business partner to operations and procurement, aligning category controlling with the end-to-end supply chain to increase transparency, compliance, and impact. You translate data into sharp insights on costs, working capital, and efficiency, enabling better decisions and long-term profitability. With a strong focus on TCO and continuous improvement, you help optimize processes while managing risks. Short lines ensure your ideas quickly become reality, supported by colleagues who make collaboration both effective and enjoyable.
Your BIG challenge as our Supply Chain Controller
As a Supply Chain Controller, you are responsible for driving transparency, performance, and control across the end-to-end supply chain. You ensure strong alignment between Category Controlling and Operational Supply Chain, enabling compliant, data-driven decision-making. Through robust analysis and reporting, you enhance performance, mitigate risks, and align financial objectives with operational needs. You create clear visibility on total cost of ownership (TCO) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, working capital, and overall effectiveness. As a trusted business partner to Operations and Logistics Procurement, you provide critical insights and support ESG and SBTi reporting to strengthen long-term profitability and strategic direction.
Your key tasks include:
Managing all supply chain controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and BI reporting (e.g., Qlik), ensuring accurate, consistent, and transparent financial data.
Strengthening financial control by implementing cost centre structures, monitoring savings programmes, and strengthening ESG reporting.
Analysing working capital drivers such as inventory, payment terms, and forecast accuracy to identify optimisation opportunities.
Assessing total cost of ownership (TCO) and evaluate the financial impact of supply chain and procurement initiatives.
Acting as a key business partner to Operations, Logistics Procurement, and Finance, advising stakeholders on financial implications and strategic decisions.
Ensuring compliance with internal controls, audits, and risk management, including supply chain resilience and governance topics.
Identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement in reporting, performance visibility, and financial processes.
Supporting digitalisation and automation initiatives, while standardising controlling tools and practices across regions.
Providing clear financial insights and data quality improvements to support Logistics Procurement in strategic decision-making and business case development.

Intersnack: an international player with an excellent reputation
The Intersnack Group is Europe’s leading savoury snack manufacturer. In 2024, we generated over €4.5 billion in net sales, employing more than 15,000 people worldwide. Intersnack Procurement manages the procurement of services, raw materials and products for manufacturing activities across the Intersnack Group. We manage an annual spend of around €3 billion. From our locations in Zevenaar (NL), Düsseldorf (DE), and Slough (UK), we manage the entire purchasing portfolio of the Intersnack Group. Intersnack Procurement sources from across the world through a large and diverse system of supply chains. In procuring these products and services, our company touches the lives of many farmers, workers, suppliers, processors and local communities. Given the size and complexity of this network, we recognize not only the potential for social, human rights and environmental risks to occur, but also our responsibility to protect against them. To achieve this, we focus our efforts on responsible sourcing, supplier development and origin and sector development. By engaging on these three levels, we aim to both drive compliance and contribute to impact and continuous improvement.
You've probably enjoyed some of our products; we produce savoury snacks and crunchy popcorn as well as nutritious nuts and creamy peanut butter. We produce, package and sell these products under brand names such as Chio, POM-BÄR, Tyrrell’s, Whole Earth and KP, but also under private labels for retailers. We also supply semi-finished products to the food industry.
We are not listed on the stock exchange, which means that we can be very entrepreneurial and can develop a long-term strategy. We are a large European leader in our industry, yet remain entrepreneurial, flexible and personal. That is also part of what makes us Intersnack; the atmosphere is pleasant, everyone knows each other, communication lines are short and you get a lot of responsibility. So it is not surprising that long employments and interesting career paths are a rule, rather than an exception. Our official language is English, in line with our very international character.
